Third party property damage claim - truck hit my boundary wall
A truck hit my boundary wall yesterday ago causing damage worth 30000 rupees. The driver admitted fault and gave me his insurance details - he has third party insurance from National Insurance. I have filed a police complaint and have photos of the damage. Now I want to claim this amount from his insurance company. What is the process? Do I need to file an FIR? How long will it take to get the money? The driver is not cooperating now and not answering my calls. Can I directly approach his insurance company? Please guide me through the third party claim process.
